The Yes Collective
The YES Collective is supported by YES, Strong City Baltimore, and the Urban Democracy Lab at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
YES (Youth Empowered Society) Drop-In Center is Baltimore City’s first and only drop-in center for homeless youth. YES is a safe space for youth who are homeless and between the ages of 14-25, to get basic needs met and establish supportive relationships with peer staff and allies that help them make and sustain connections to long-term resources and opportunities.
This book was dedicated to anyone who loves poetry, art, and storytelling. This is for those in dark places, under bridges, and for those struggling to find a story they’re proud of. We dedicate this to magic and rainbows; wellness and dignity. Safe places and trust. It is a devotion to our daughters and sons, mothers, and fallen brothers. And to those who are overlooked, but resilient—who are young and still learning:
