Siobhan Federici has 20 years of experience working for colleges, universities, and independent schools. She is the owner of Cardinal Communications, a communications consulting firm specializing in strategic messaging for schools.

Prior to the launch of Cardinal Communications, Siobhan served as the chief communications officer of Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut. During her nine years there, she led the school’s overall communications efforts including strategic planning, marketing and branding, advertising, media relations, public relations, crisis management, publications, website, video, and social media. She has additional experience as a communications consultant with The Jane Group as a senior crisis manager, aiding schools with essential messaging in times of crisis. Siobhan has managed multiple public relations crises and handled media response to Vanity Fair, The New York Times, Newsweek, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and more.
